Monthly payments are irrelevant, they don't mean a thing. What matters is the Out the Door(OTD) price.Anybody can give you a low monthly payment, with no loss to them.

Agree on the OTD before you even think about monthly payments.

If the refuse, do what they can't, walk out.

They should change their tune; if not, they don't deserve your bussiness.

This is what it looks like, an ad. All bets are off once you enter the showroom.

Thanks for the comment ac51979. For the most part, I'll agree with your statements. It sounds to me like you are an educated consumer. If everyone had the insight that you did, buying a car would be a lot easier. The only disagreement I have is your statement that "payments are irrelevant". Since 92% of Americans finance their cars and 81% of those have budget concerns, then payments are very relevant to those folks. However, the bottom line OTD price IS important.

Thank you for your comments. I apologize that you feel misled. The title of the show is The Dirty Little Secrets of a Used Car Dealer and it is in 3 parts on You Tube.
