My Pastor in church when preaching about faith, gave paragliding as an example on how God lifts us up in difficult situations when we turn to him.
I find that to be true every time.
Have tried paragliding and took the course and it is great fun

Hey Man! Maybe you dont know how to launch :-) Why hands up??? Its fucking turbulent. He did the most right in this situation! Look how the wing reacts on the wind all he time. He has very fine Handling!!!

its not dangerous, my dad has been doing it for years and I have started. You rarely ever hear of a paragliding crash. Plane rides are more dangerous from what I heard

Considering the environment it was sufficiently secure. Wind come from left over a ridge and thus we took off leewards.
