@toothlessfatoveralls -the black car that started the chain reaction winds up being hit by the white car as he spins out
-
in the turn the second black car hits the other black car in the rear causing him to hit the white car sending the white car into the outside black car causing him to hit the wall=accident
-
im 100 percent positive that that was an accident

Maybe the old guys who they they know how to race, should get a reality check and go to a driving class. I got High Performance award, Track Champion, and Driver of The Year. If people are just going to rub, bang, hit, and plow other competiters into the wall or whatever, then get off the track and stay off of it. This season with us being NASCAR sanctioned will be hell. People aren't going to deal with the childish "driving". It was clearly an accident. It's the past. Get over it.

35 years of experience says it was just a racing incident that probably never would have happened if the two rear tires hadn't touched
Yes that was an accident. It happened to me at Devil's Bowl the summer of 2009. Shit happens. I'm 15 years old. and I know for a fact that was an accident. Ohstrander needs to calm down and learn that things like like happen. He cant get all worked up over it. Fix the car and get back out on the track. That's what I had to do!

Ostrander was upset because this driver had a habit of putting us on the wall every other week. He, as well as us, were tired of constantly having to"fix" our car, due to 1 person (who had a bad habit of hitting us) simply because we were a threat (we were very close in points)

I see Monroe gained a little push when accelerating coming out of turn #4, It than turned into a oversteer just before the contact. Probably tire to tire, or tire to bumper causing a violent jump while the cars are sideways. Easy to loose controle when that happens. Albany saratoga can get real slick. That really sucks when you work all week on the car and its over in seconds.

I'm no driver, so I trust what you say to be true. We had a lot of issues with Monroe that year. But, they appear to have been resolved over time (YAY! =-) Poor Mike blames himself for every little ding in the car. We try to assure him it's OK, crapola happens, but he feels terrible after a crash like this. It does leave a weird feeling in your gut. Half loss/grief, half anger, and all disappointment. I can't imagine what the pit crew must feel like. I agree, it is very anticlimactic.
