"This video was created in an outcry against the horrors that modern "art" and "music" has unleashed upon us. People like John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen have done what should be unacceptable, they have taken the aesthetics out of music. What these people have actually done is waved their pretentiousness in our faces and forced us to swallow their crap and hail them as geniuses. People are now forced to say they are great or risk being themselves called ignorant or close minded. Well I say it is not closed minded to claim that art should be ENJOYED. True genius takes at least a modicum of skill and all of the works of these so called "geniuses" can be done by any other human who wishes to be such a prick. So here, I rebel against their making a mockery of the original intention of art and instead make a mockery of their pieces. You are now hearing 100 toilet flushes compiled together into a piece that is intended to mimic Gyorgy Ligeti's Poeme Symphonique For 100 Metronomes. In this plea I hope that all you who defend those modern "artists" will pull your head out of your asses and see the ease by which they have made you an arrogant pretentious dick as well. Finally. All I can say is: Leave art to the true artists, those who seek to please. If you intend to make crap that anyone can do and forcibly shove it in people's faces as art, GTFO!"

Ironically (for you at least), I find this quite enjoyable. The fact that these are flushes doesn't bring me any displeasure (I cant smell the video ;). A sound is a sound. Music is today further than it has ever been, and it is not due to people who just complain.

You did this video to mock Ligeti, but you did it anyway and you can't stop people from actually enjoying it. So... thanks I guess ;)

This video is supposed to be an "outcry" but it sounds more like a childish whine. Face it, man: you don't even know that Ligeti's Poème Symphonique was meant to be a critique of the state of music back then. The difference between Ligeti and you is that he was smart: he created a highly unfeasible yet classy performance, while you went straight for toilet humour. That video description you wrote is ten times more pretentious than anything Schoenberg ever did. This is a whole new level of FAIL.

I agree with you...Xue....I think asking a 6 year old to bash the piano in anyway would definitely sound nicer than Schoenberg...they are just mathematicians or philosophists or 'great' thinkers pretending to be Musicians...And as to Mr. John Cage's famous statement: noise is not music, music is not noise...Any sane person will know that!...

Your statement reminds me of a quote be Gustav Mahler, allegedly uttered after attending a concert with pieces by Schönberg. The greater part of the audience was booing the musicians off the stage, while Mahler kept clapping: "I didn't enjoy the piece either, but maybe it's because I don't understand it yet."
