A beach untouched by man-- yes it does exist! North of Charleston, S.C., Boneyard Beach is a unique stretch of coastal America. It is part of Bull Island, a federally protected barrier island.
we were here this june with my sister and her family. they have a whaler, and we anchored on the south side of the island, then hung out in tidal pools by the boneyard. my one-year old has never been in the ocean, and he loved this place. the tidal pools were warm as bathwater. i'm still blue for this place.
This is a barrier island. The sands are constantly moving. What was once fertile ground is now beach. The soil is moved by the tides and currents, leaving the trees and other vegetation.
The Dare Island Enigma is a cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer
