  • @herbalsheila This is a folk song from a Taiwanese aboriginal tribe. It describes the ever-so-green mountain and blue water being like the strong boys and beautiful girls of Alishan (around which the aborigines live these days). The song also goes into how the boys and girls will never part like the water which surrounds the mountain. It's a very popular song, and this is a particularly interesting version.

  • I wish more was posted about this in English so I could know more about it. It looks quite fascinating. What is the song about? Exactly what part of the Orient is this? I love the group dancing and the outfits. What exuberance youths!
