Good lord, your turtle is precious... and FAST! WOW!

How in the world did you train that turtle to raise up to you? It is such a cute video. What kind of turtle is it? Looks like it has some shell damaged on the front that has healed over, was it a rescue? Thanks for sharing!!

You have a very nice juivie boxie, I'm glad he is very comfortable with you!
I too am a Turtle Whisperer lol You should visit my channel and see Olivia & Toby.
I see in that vid Koopa has a bit of an overbite. A vet will drummel it down for you for a reasonable price.

Hi. I have 4 red eared sliders that all act like this and think they are dogs! They spend most of their time outside the tank chasing me around. I feed them and they stay in their tank till the evening.I give them a lot of meat. Then, they are free to roam and explore. They love playing outside in the grass and sun. Ive had them for 10 yrs and they used to sleep with me. Now they sleep in blankets in the corner of my room. Def spend LOTS of time with them. Don't give up!

How did you get your turtle to trust you like he does? How old is he? I have 2 baby red eared sliders and I have had them for almost 3 weeks and it seems that i still connot enter the room without them diving away from me...I dont try to hold them or take them out. They just dont trust me...I relize its only been about 3 weeks...Any help...You seem to know plenty about getting a turtle to love you

Koopa is an adult turtle, age 25+. Many years of letting him roam freely have pretty much forced him to trust me. Aquatics will have a much more difficult time gaining your trust. You should take them out and hold them or let them explore outside their tank for awhile. Just spend as much time with them as possible, feed by hand, give them eye contact, and speak softly. Please dont expect too much of a change. Good luck!
