Nah JK, it's kinda true actually, maybe it has something to do with the fact that we're really proud of our culture and language ;) It's a shame that most french people are unable to see past that.. English has to be the easiest language on earth & it doesn't take long to be good at it.. but some of us are just too damn lazy/proud.. Am I talking against my own country? I think it's amazing how two candidates on X Factor France, are able to sing in English SO well... I really think people should be given more recognition for the fact that they can speak/sing in a different language other than their mother tongue. :)

@globin3 oh girl us americans think we're pretty great too and, unlike french, english doesn't really have any patterns that apply in things like conjugating verbs but I take my hat off to you. Also, I happen to remember a certain gregory lemarchal being pretty good at singing in english.

Why are people fighting? These are talented people on stage. Why not just enjoy their talent? I'm an American, and I Love French. I'm taking a French class, and I love speaking the language, and their culture. I love their accents. I actually enjoy watching this. I've watched it more then once. We're all human. We just live in different parts of the world, and speak different languages. :)

@AutotuneSucksBalls learning the words and the meaning to the words is easy. The rules for the use of English still baffle me to no end, and this is coming from an American. Heck even my English professor in college says the rules don't make sense and in some cases contradict previous rules.
