Naomily - "Shiver"

Naomi's POV. If you don't know anything about Skins read the description, should answer some Q's for you.

Some clips of the relationship betweeen Emily and Naomi in the 3rd season of the tv show Skins. For those who don't know, Skins is a show on the British channel E4 aimed at teenagers. It depicts a group of 16/17 year olds living in Bristol with, perhaps slightly unrealistic, partying lifestyles. The show has a lot of sex, alcohol, smoking and drugs so not exactly family viewing. However out of this slightly over the top show has come something beautiful, one of the most realistic representations of a teenage lesbian relationship that i've ever seen on television. The rough story is that we start the season seeing the group starting their first year at Roundview College and it becomes evident that Naomi and Emily have met before. Emily's identical twin Katie makes jokes about Naomi being a lesbian and we discover that Naomi supposedly jumped Emily at a party in the past. Emily later confesses that it was her who made the move and this sparks a friendship between the two that, under some gentle persuasion from Emily, becomes something more. The scenes between these two young actresses are powerful and realistic and i would recommend watching this show purely to see the way the writers, directors, and actresses handle the subject of a coming out relationship for these two characters. In my opinion this show is essential viewing.

Ok I'm loving it!! Really Great Story Telling. I'm impressed!! You kept me with you from the beginning to the end!! That's the good thing about telling a story, I don't have to know the characters or the show to be able to follow and enjoy it.Very good job in all departments, Thanks:-D

Naomily is the best couple ever in skins and i believe that it changes people's perspectives on gay couples. They are perfectly normal and some people do not know that, but Naomi and Emily pull it off quite nicely, inspiring people to believe in themselves and that it's okay to be different.
