@lenoat702 -- because those are the two I had with me when I made the video. Clearly if you really wanted to record in stereo, you'd use two of the same brand and model of interfaces.

However, you can use audacity to copy and paste to another audio track and set one mono track to left and the other right.

Recording in stereo requires 2 microphones (or one stereo microphone). The CU01 is a mono microphone; alone, it cannot record in stereo.

how do record in stereo with one usb mic? i have a samson cu01 and when i try to record in stero on in garage band i can only hear it out of one side. please help.
