Was thrilled to be fishing with Jackson Hole, Pro Wyoming fly fishing guide Nate Bennett and Pro Dubois WY fly fishing legend, Leon Sanderson.

Nate was on the trout several times. And we have several smiles to prove it. He caught a nice Brown Trout, a beautiful rainbow and...a whitefish but I'm not supposed to mention that. :) I am the Whitefish King around these parts. By the way, if you are looking for a great fly fishing guide in the Jackson Hole WY area, get a hold of Nate. You couldn't ask for a more down to earth and pleasant person and great guy. Of note, Nate is an accomplished artist and cartoonist. I have a couple of his Original Watercolor paintings at my shop, Marlows Fly Shop in Dubois. Several years ago, Nate drew and designed a hilarious cartoon of Leon Sanderson on his cell phone while fly fishing. If you look closely in this fly fishing video, you will see Leon actually was on his cell phone at one point probably closing a Real Estate Deal. I love the dedication!

"Well I'm a Man With No Purpose..."

Leon nailed his quota of beautiful Wyoming trout in a shot period. Although for some reason, I didn't get that many fly fishing photos of Leon catching fish. Think I was shooting images of the mountains, the river and the Wind River Range. Ah well. It is easy to get distracted with all that the Dubois WY area has to offer. PS: We were fishing a combination of nymphs. An "LB" and a Blood Back nymph pattern seemed to be working well today.
