where Cloud and Tifa meet


translation:
Sephiroth: I've been looking for you.
Tifa: Who are you?
Sephiroth: Your enemy. There's no need for you to know anything other than that.
Tifa: A warrior of Chaos, then.
Sephiroth: Now, come at me with all you've got.
Sephiroth: If you die at the first attack then it's no fun.

Sephiroth: Thanks to you it seems most of my memories have returned.
Sephiroth: But it's not enough.

Tifa: Hey. Thanks for helping me out there.
Cloud: That was nothing.
Tifa: No, you really helped me out there.
Tifa: Ah, I'm Tifa. You're also a warrior of Cosmos right?
Cloud: No, I'm a warrior of Chaos.
Tifa: Then you were fighting with your comrade? Why?
Cloud: I felt like it.

Cloud: Yeah.

Cloud: That's about right.
Tifa: To think that among the warriors of Chaos there'd be strange people like you

Cloud: Cloud.

Tifa: Hey Cloud, would you by any chance be someone I know?
Tifa: I have no memories of anything before this war.
Tifa: But just now when I heard your name—
Cloud: No, I don't know anything about you.
Tifa: I see. Sorry for asking you such a weird question.
Tifa: But um, thanks alot for just now.
Tifa: Suddenly appearing and driving him off, I thought that was really cool of you.
Tifa: To come rescue a girl when she's in trouble, you looked like a hero back then.
Tifa: Chaos and Cosmos...
Tifa: If you're a warrior of Chaos then that means sooner or later we'll end up having to fight.

ya know, if you really listen to the story line, you can see that duodecim basically explains the original dissidia story line and fills in some holes in the story, like when kefka told terra about how she used to love hurting people, I think he was refering to either (1) when she was on the side of chaos in this game or (2) the original game when she was being controlled. This scene makes me think of cloud when he said "The one i really want to meet is..." he was talking about tifa!!!

I agree I think he was talking about Tifa, why would he be talking about Aerith, Cloud did not want to fight but when Tifa was in danger that all changed...he was fighting for her and he went to chaos so he could save her (he knew it would cause her to “demise”) but failed and begged cosmos to protect Tifa when Cloud was awoken as a Cosmos warrior he felt like he lost something…so the one he really wanted to meet was….

@AiAyame1 Actually Square after all these years confirmed the Cloud/Tifa/Aerith debate It's Cloud/Tifa. Really, I thought Aerith/Cloud was impossible when Aerith died. And Crisis Core put Cloud/Aerith in a coffin.
