Miss Indiana also has a very different beautiful voice. Much different from your typical high-note hitting, loud screaming, pageant girl. Absolutely wonderful.

Honestly, I don't think that Michigan did so bad. There was a few strange notes, but over all she was good. She's be good for a musical.

I dont mean to be rude but miss michigan was off in a lot of ways.. It wasn't terrible but def not the winning talent. Just my opinion.

@vibrantviolist For great final night classical violin, buy the Miss America tapes for the yr Gretchen Carlson won (she is Ms America 1989) and when Heather French won as Ms America 2000. Gretchen Carlson became the 1st classical violinist to win at Ms America with Sarazat's Zigeunerweisen (she nails it), and in 99, Ms Pa, Susan Spafford performed Grazyna Bacewicz's Police Caprice. Both are excellent & were crowd pleasers final night. Very enjoyable to watch- I highly recommend.
