It's obviously a spoken word version. He's not mocking at all. It'd be worse if he tried to actually sing.
I'm wondering if you would be as sensitive about this if Michael was still alive?

First of all thanks for everyone who liked the post. i coudnt find this song on youtube so i thought i'll share this with you.
secondly MJ is a singer and a writer and this version of Billie Jean is a tribute to his writing not his singing so by no means questlove is mocking MJ, but in fact bringing those beautiful words to life.
