Got some snowshoes for Christmas and decided to take them out and give them a good break in.

@paracordjunky I will add in beef jerky, or sometimes just beef bouillon cubes. I forgot to add some that time. If I get a wild game kill, I will add that in. Even the little flavor packets out of Ramen noodles works good too.

@mgibby45 Hey Mike, you can go to bushcraftusa and sign up there for free. It's a great forum with a lot of great folks. Hardly any drama like on a lot of other sites. The Bushclasses are part of the forum found in the BushclassUSA sub forum of that site. Hope to see you over there.

The soup mix that you carry with you what other kinds of things do you put in there besides beans?? I went to the store to put together something similar but I wasn't sure what to get. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@helmutdiggy To be honest, that is my dad's camera and I'm not very familiar with them. I know we played with that one for quite a bit to get it working the way we wanted. Sorry I couldn't be more help on that

@lawson863 It's 160 acres of private land that is surrounded on 3 sides of national forest, so we have literally thousands of acres to play on
