Are you sure Ms Inigo directed this version? Anong version ang tawag natin dito? Because if traditional (folk dance) singkil is Maranao, so the movements of the princess are all no, no, No! Comtemporary? Hindi naman. And the dance figures are different. Wow! The characterization is confusing too. Ang tapang-tapang ng Prinsesa. Sya yata ang nag po-protect sa prince. She could have worn point shoes, it will justify her movements.

The best interpretation of the 14th century legend. A little different than most Singkil dances but this is a thoughtful interpretation. Love the princess' skillful use of apir/fan depicting her summoning auspicious winds to help her....

@talkshitcated I agree with you. Binigyan sana nila ng ibang pangalan ang sayaw na ito. Obviously, sariling interpretation nila 'to at kung sino man ang choreographer nito, sorry pero hindi ata sapat yung alam nya tungkol sa Singkil.

im a lover of singkil dances but sorry to say kaso di ko xa bet prang karate na ritwal na ewan nwlan n ng poise ang princess. this is just a comment lng po peace!!!
