lol Theres a guy called Devin Harris and he is quite good. The Kidd trade seems like a complete steal right now. We traded a 35 year old JKidd for a 25 year old Devin Harris. Harris is averaging 22 and 6 which is all star numbers. And while the RJ trade looked bad, we got great cap space, not to mention 2 decent players in Yi and Bobby.

So its not as bad as you think. Were in a rebuilding year so I dont expect much from us. Ill be extremely happy if we make the playoffs.

There are plenty of good and bad reasons for the trade.

Good: Yi is Chinese, meaning the Nets will be one of the most popular teams in China.

Opens Cap space for a free agent in 2010.

Allows Devin to score more.

Bad: RJ was our top scorer last season.

RJ is better than both players.

I would say they even out. Many picked us to be last in the conference this season but we are right there in the playoffs race.

It was time. RJ and VC dont mesh well, its been proven the past 3 years. If they did play well together they would have gotten further then the 2nd round, along with Kidd. One of them had to go. Rod Thorn picked RJ(which I think is the right pick). Also, Wade says he doesnt want to move and LeBron looks like he wants to stay.
