This was the tenth of my null-test project, a project to up my standard to 15 fps
This test was specifically done for a short clip involving a security checkpoint, meaning a metal detector and conveyor belt. I wanted to test out a minifig putting a bag on the belt, as shown.
From the bag being at normal, hand-held level till being laid flat on the side of the belt, there were 8 evenly spaced frames. From being flat on the side of the belt to being put in the middle of the belt, there were 5 more frames (with an 'ease-out motion' of settling into the belt movement)
Also, in this test I moved the bag (to give off conveyor belt movement effect) 1/3 a stud. I found this to be too fast. In my final version, I found 1/6 of a stud per frame capture to be a very good speed (while this sound very small, using the grill-like pieces I used for the belt, every bar/slit is 1/6 a stud, so I used that for reference)
Thankfully, minifigs don't have shoes to take off to go through security. Animation looks good. I can appreciate the challenge of the figure walking at angle to get through the metal detector. I really like the looks of your airport set. Looks like you have a new film in the works. Let me know if you need any voice work or anything else.

hey, long time no hear! Thanks. It's to be really about a minute long clip, nothing too big.
I actually might have a good part for your voice, so thanks for the offer.

IT NEEDS SOUND

this is just an animation test. There's no reason for me to put sound, background animation, or proper lighting until the final thing (which I've already started)
