I think the officer was right. It was either him, wrestle her to the ground and use force, (Possible injuring / breaking bones of a elderly lady) or taser her to get her to cooperate. He kept giving her directives and she refused to follow. You ARE responsible for YOUR actions. SHE CHOOSE not to follow instructions by law enforcement, Don't cry for attention afterwards. Only thing she had to do was sign the ticket and STFU. End of Story....

After seeing this it is very very hard to empathize with this woman; she refused to cooperate with the officer at any point, walked away from him, disobeyed his order to stay at her car, cursed at him, and challenged him over and over again. A 72 year-old can be concealing a small gun or knife just as easily as anyone else can.

I'm sorry, but I just don't feel sorry for her after acting like an ass and refusing to cooperate for several minutes.

the taser was probably the safest option really. she was already fighting him when he tried to get the cuffs on her. plus that close to traffic makes it a bad place to have to grapple with anybody. plus if he would have taken her to the ground, she probably would have been hurt more by him having to fight with her. i would have pepper sprayed her, much better way to deliver the message, "stop being a stuck up bitch you old bag. you're not special"

yes, i think the officer should get an educations in proper manner. if only he is not yelling and used a force language to the lady, like he use in the end (i watch the full version) this should not result in tazing the grandma. nevertheless the grandma should obey the law in the first place, don't start argument with police on patrol..just sign the damn ticket and complain later on in court, most of police cars have a dash cam.
