You know why he sits on the pc monitor ? it's warm for their butts , mine does the same , and sometimes he sleeps better then his own cage there.

@LimitNine I got her from a lady who never took her out of the cage, or even held her. Not even once. but she's starting to realize I'm not a threat and shes quite happy

@iDominestic I have a bird that doesn't want to come out of her cage as well. But, i simply gently grabbed her and set her ontop of her cage. after awhile I took her and set her by my desk, just have them by you as you browse the web or read a book. Speak to them, or read a book aloud. offer their favorite foods to them. that really helped me with my bird even though we have a ways to go

every time i put my budgie on my laptop and start petting her she'll get scared and fly off on the floor. how can i keep her from flying away from me?
