Scotia Glenville Pipe Band from the USA competing in the Juvenile Championship competition at the World Pipe Band Championships held on 15 August 2009 at Glasgow Green.

The band, under pipe major Maureen Connor, was placed third in this competition.

The tunes are the march Donald MacLean's Farewell to Oban (a beautiful tune very stylishly played here), the strathspey Maggie Cameron and the reel Captain Lachlan MacPhail of Tiree.

It had been raining heavily and continuously for about 30 hours by the time this video was taken and parts of Glasgow Green had become waterlogged - as you can see. Shortly afterwards the weather was to improve considerably.
