@gittahfiend Mate its electric not acoustic.the material is the last part in the chain.Your Hands-amp-pedals-effects-picku
ps and last the material with very little contribution to the sound.In blind test you wont distinquish the poplar from maple the acrylic from basswood or the carbon fiber from mahogany(many tone....purists have tried and failed).The important thing is the way is put together and how skilled is the person that makes it happen not the material. -
