For the first section of the dance, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q1MPw...
Tamasaburo performed his signature dance "Sagi Musume (Heron Maiden)" at the Kabuki-za, Tokyo. This is the middle part of the dance, in which Tamasaburo portraited a machi musume (town girl).

What is the word for the 'prone back' pose in Japanese, please? The sentence is too fast in the commentary for me to discern it. Thank you!

    Wonderful !

I love the speaker's voice. I've bought the DVD for dances of course, and also because I thought I could hear that voice on it. Who is the speaker ? I read his name somewhere, but is that you, Tiffenakou ?

To understand the most language Asian has a rithm, like chinese, sound like a song, including Tagalo, Japanese, Tibethan language, etc.. The music resemble the sound of the words, like al the music at present, well mostly of the 70´s (Disco, Blue, Soul), but no hip hop, no reggae, and other more modern music. This is why when they sing is mosst like a reciting a poem. Other idioms has that rithm but is no so marked like Asian languages.

We are all the same race, it is just only the culture music language and traditions which makes us different, also some parts of appearance so, still japan has an awesome culture tradition which is very very connected with the nature and kinda a nice easy life-style, greetings from Serbia!
