Soupy Sales - "The Mouse"

Soupy doing "The Mouse"!! At first I was gonna edit this post down to just the song, but I decided to leave the whole segment intact, since I found it interesting watching Soupy stall/ad-lib while someone was apparently cueing-up the record!!

I'll always remember Soupy's line, "Be true to your teeth, or they'll be false to you"...

I love this clip. I cannot stop watching it. Soupy was great with spontaneity. Very loose. And, what was he on that day...man! "The Mouse" segment is very surreal.

I always got the impression that it was just his crew and maybe invited friends who were laughing along with Soupy, but I can't say for sure...

-- Same here! We loved Soupy in Chicago! We ate our lunch with him every Saturday afternoon. I also thought the lead singer of The Guess Who sounded like Soupy on that Star Baby song.
