A brief thank you video to NPR and NPR supporters for their encouragement of me following my posting of the coverage of how I created NPR's Facebook page. While the video is not ground-breaking on its own your support of me make me realize that I could turn my interest and passion in social media into a full-time job.
Your support made me realize that what I love doing and what I can make money doing aren't mutually exclusive.
I'd especially like to thank Andy Carvin for being reasonable and the NPR supporter who wants to remain anonymous for personally buying me an NPR mug (Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, obviously...I grew up around Chicago). You helped renew my faith in people and that selfless acts still do happen.

Thank you Geoff! I'm glad you have found this new endeavor..you are definitely extremely talented and we're lucky to have you working on NPR pages. Your humility is charming and I believe it is necessary as we try to change the world. Oh, aren't all NPR listerners and fans trying to change the world, one progressive at a time? :D What else are you working on? I wish you the best!

Congrat Geoff, i have enjoyed your FB pages many many times and like others have already stated you are indpirational!!!
You might want to check out doing some work within the onlne virtual community of Second Life also...many many opportunities exist there and a number of organizations and schools are already in SL

Why NPR is so great. Real connection between listeners and network. If there are a couple links in between, still one big family.
