4% of people sleep on their backs. For the other 96% of people this is a VERY poor bed as it does not provide proper support when you lay in another position.
The Sleep Number Beds are the most problematic sleep sets you can get. Many things can and do go wrong. I'd recommend an all-foam mattress whether memory or latex. Simmons Beautyrest for best innerspring mattresses.
This bed contains a lot of latex foam, to which some people are increasingly allergic. My husband developed huge hives after he began sleeping on a Sleep Number bed and the hives went away after getting rid of the bed. There are toxic materials in this bed that many don't think about.
Why don't you tell them how toxic it is? Made from polyurethane foam & petroleum oil. Did you know it takes a 55 gallon drum of petroleum oil to make just one queen size memory foam mattress? Petroleum oil causes cancer, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Polygycols & Polybrominated Diphenyol Ethers. That will surely put you to sleep. In fact you might not wake up either! Now you know why you sleep hot, it's like sleeping in a gas station it stinks!! Sleep number is just as bad, PVC bladders!!
@veysim good one. MOST doctors promote idealogical circumstances but forget the world isn't built ideal and humans have this thing called choice which keeps doc's in business
what they are forgetting to mention is that most people sleep on there side not on there back + human body weight while awake is lighter when awake, therefore when sleeping becoming heavier. So you will never really be able to adjust to ideal pressure while sleeping
If you bought your bed from a reputable source (i.e. store!) you'd know that all beds, including ineerspring and memory foam, can grow mold. Select Comfort actually hires a company to anti-microbially treat their beds, actually decreasing the amount of mold and mildew in it's beds compared to others. If you have a bed and have any probs, you can call em. They will fix it. Just call somebody at your local store or maybe google customer service.
