Fenghuang (Chinese for Phoenix) is a small and old city, 140km south to Zhangjiajie City and 52km south to Jishou City in Hunan Province, China. http://travel.webshots.com/album/555328100jWIMVt
For the record, it wasn't small 200 years ago. The Hmong/Miao uprising was brutally crushed and the civilians massacred by the Qing armies. Fenghuang was once the center of a large, thriving Hmong settlement of estimates between 400k-600k people, now just a ghost town.
wow wow awesome scene wish to be there.....one day hopefully
