Konomi was one of the most beautiful maiko,then geiko,of Gion.

So sad that Gion lost another beautiful flower!

With her sad face and wonderful grace,Konomi was like a bloom flower which never dies.

@leJiNX She is/was a senior maiko in these photos. Maiko begin with Red eri, signifying their naivety and childishness. As they gain more knowledge and experience, gradually their eri transitions to white.
