Exploring & empowering sexuality after spinal cord injury

If sex is a fabric, what is its texture?

In the absence of motor and sensory function, the nature,
meaning and mechanism of sex change. What if, with the loss
of movement and sensation, the pleasure of and motivation for
sex does not diminish, but, rather, transforms and transposes?

This project responds to the intricacies and difficulties that
people with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) face with sex, and
endeavours to rediscover, redefine and re-educate sex by
enhancing communication and seeking human connection in
new ways -- defying pre-conceptions that a pleasurable and
satisfying life is one step too far for the disabled community at
large.
