@TheAdmiralofLife Anime is like Rap, there're good ones and bad ones, but they draw inspiration from previous songs,stories, and many other things in general.(like previous genre) I sincerely doubt this song is the epitome of 'pure' anime songs. I frankly don't care about what they say in the original..I read the translated version and said screw it this song sucks. When I heard this guy sang it, the lyrics resonated with me more than the 'real pure' one. So at least in my opinion..he rocks.
