so, trying to educate a certain "uneducatable" on the TT forum that clutchless shifting is not only easier to do most of the time on a dirt bike (yes, using the clutch does need to be done many times) but with just a bit of practice is LESS wearing on a transmission. I took a couple zipties and held the clutch lever out so i can't use the clutch, then push the bike in neutral then drop into first when i get it rolling. The recluse exp autoclutch is NOT working as i adjusted any gain out of the perch adjuster. (so it is not working).
Clutchless shifting is so simple, just a slight roll off (5%?) of the gas unloads the trans and allows you to shift the bike up OR down.. ALL the upshifts you see in my roadrace videos are clutchless FULL TRHOTTLE upshifts using a quickshifter device that cuts the ignition for 50-80milliseconds.
