Basically, ED = normal humans.
LC = feminists
UCS = Robots...
The UCS is the most evil faction i think... after earth 2150 the UCS robots led by GOLAN killed all the humans... thus the ED is the only normal human race out there. But ED is full of slavery and shit... so it sux. But LC is some wierd matriach society so basically, all races are fucked up :). There is no good or evil.

@Migueria: You did not play all 2160 Campaign, are not you? Unlike other factions' expectation, Golan keeps UCS people in space craft, Golan knew that ED and LC will fight each other. so he waited until UCS get a chance to blow all of them (while he is sending some scout there.)
The protagonists of ED and LC betrayed by their factions. so they work together with UCS.

ED - Power and normal weapons! Defense team
UCS - Fast attack and damage, robots! Attack team
LC - Technology, fast researchs and high defense, flying units! Strategic team (defense + attack)
ED are less developed, UCS got nice units to destroy, LC can build wherever they want and got the most developed technology and weapons!
Conclusion: UCS win =D

Yes UCS is the good guys GOLAN IV was fine in Escape from the Blue planet, and in Lost Souls he went "mad" for who knows why

@Migueria actually i`d like to be part of the LC, they`re just using feminine terms because Men are very rare and usually treated like kings.
The ED is all about the reborn soviet union plus laser beams.
UCS is human civilists sheltered and protected by machines, led by crazy GOLAN IV.
