@msoriano54 Europe has also metal bands like korpiklaani, lordi, within temptation, wintersun, sonata arctica, nightwish, alestorm, eluveite, opeth, arkona, amon amarth, venom, kreator, thyrfing, rhapsody of fire and many more. I think metal might survive with all these bands.

I still like Metallica on MoP and RTL.

But they've fallen so badly.

Just like Eminem in hip hop.

There's just way better thrash bans than them and perhaps even more influential.

In all honesty, they don't deserve to be in the Big 4 now with the stuff they put out.

The whole point of Thrash is to put out volatile, visceral, insane shit. Not watered down stuff to cater the masses.

Yeah, loads of bands go mainstream but not all suck.

Those are mostly standard bands.

Every one who likes rock/metal will like most of those bands.

Way better bands than those. Especially on the independent scene.

@Ichbinderhorst123 i'm actually happy with Lordi as a metal band. why? 'cause Lordi showed me an example of wat we should do if metal is fading away: winning a contest with a metal band. thanks to them i discovered metal. all these bands i spoke of prooved me that metal can survive.

ps: i'm searching for some more metal bands. do know some?
