if ur on a plane u can ask to have some water and offer wudu right there, i doubt now adays u will get on a airplane with no water, unless its a private Jet, but then u know there is no water there so y not prepare urself, and bring it with you. Really there is no excuses.

@Sabilallah I think he told him to unclick his fingers because the prophet s.a.w said not to click your fingers together in the masjid

Alhamdulillah, everybody here has good intention, good level of knowledge, knows where to find information. May Allah reward the true hearts. All commented here regarding prayer without wudu or tayammum are right from their own perspectives. Shaykh most probably was trying to emphasize on the point which did not become so clear. This could be applicable when a person is tied, imprisoned, unable to get water or dust with hands to do something & salah time comes and goes. Very restrictive case.

Salam alaikum wr wb,
why is the Br. Abu Taubah telling the brother to 'unclick' his fingers 42:06 ? Is there something wrong with doing so?
Jazakumullahu khayran

If he is alone and going to die then yes he should pray as he is till death InshaAllah.

@afane If one is paralyzed completely someone can help him make wudhu then he can pray, someone should be there because if not he would die of hunger. If he is partially paralyzed and his arms are available I would assume he can make wudhu alone. So in these cases wudhu "can" and should be made.

is there a way i can click "like" 100 times??????

Wait, I don't get it. 1:00:10 - 1:00:30 If you wake up from sleep you need to make Wudu :| and if you're so tired you can't stand up, how are you going to do wudu to pray? If you can do wudu surely you can stand up to pray...
According to the sunnah there may no existing narration on what to do if dust is unavailable. For example if your on a plane somewhere that is very poor in the earth, and you could not bring water nor could you land early, you cannot purify yourself ! So who said prayer must still be perfomed then? Where is the proof? Allah only accepts salah when one is pure so you must wait and make it up later on! You would have a valid excuse then.

@khalifahklothing you dont need to pray whilst travelling its permissable to excuse it until arrival.

@hamzakhan111 No akhi, you have to pray even then. But we have permission to combine dhuhr and asr, and shorten it to 2 rak'ah each. Same with maghrib and Isha. Except that maghrib is still 3 rak'ah.
