Painting with Negative Space and Silhouettes

Here's another technique. A great deal of people find it easier to see or find images in shapes rather than from lines. When drawing from line the mind often gets caught up in symbology, whereas when focusing on contour or silhouettes it does not. For this reason it's worthwhile to give this kind of painting a shot. Like in my video about organic shapes I had no idea where I was going when I started putting down marks. Incase anyone wants to know, I used the digital watercolour brush to paint with.

what setting do u use on your sketch brush in photoshop? do u just have opacity set to pen pressure and no size change?
