Typewriter has the ss Key
There is Rust, Keys do stick
Chrome is flaking on in spots - Platen is hard - Keybars move
Carriage return strap broke I have the metal strap hook (see picture)
This typewriter is a not working

Label maybe from the dealer or repair person.

Typewriter has the ss Key ,my guess it was added after the typewriter was built.
I don't know when it was added or what key it replaced, maybe the $ key?
No $ key on typewriter
I pick up this typewriter and about 10 others in fair condition.
They were stored in a open air shed.
That is the only history I know about this machine.
1 or 2 were in good condition. That was back in 2007.
I was cleaning out some typewriters, as I carried it outside I rub off the grim and first key I rubbed
clean was.....you guess it, the key.
