More complicated than that, Korea was crippled during the war in the 50s. The sheer trauma of losing what, 15 percent of the population, having the country split in half while exploding into the 20th century with a pair of Authoritarian regimes on the precipe of Armageddon. Shit if Moon helped some easily led people sleep at night going through all this he deserves the money. I think he will fade out though and Unification will go more mainstream ala the Scientologists.
