The Setting: A beautiful late Summer day in San Francisco.
The Place: The outside terrace of our home at Cafe Cocomo
The Artist: Danilo Plessow, aka Motor City Drum Ensemble aka MCDE aka Inverse Cinematics
The Vibe: Epic.
Danilo's appearance was a surprise. Only a handful of people knew he was going to be there, so when party revelers arrived to the news MCDE would be playing, the excitement filled the air immediately. From the first track to his encore the energy built to a tipping point, and when he dropped his landmark track Raw Cuts 3 the energy bubbled over into a frenzy of pure dance floor groove. Danilo feeling it from the crowd returned it graciously.
The Hawt boys put together a top notch highlight reel which you can also see here on our channel... for this video we got a chance to get a few words with Danilo after his set, who said it was 'the best party of the year". We're humbled.
