reading John Maynard Keynes' writing (that saved a large portion of the world from The Great Depression), hoping to discuss further at http://www.xomba.com/free_economicsfinance_ebook#comment-77794

  • @miazagora You're right! (Because you wouldn't believe me if I told you how wrong you were LoL)

From what I remember, it seems that Keynes was more 'DOOMING the economy' (observing how unavoidable its destruction is) and reminding us that--though the economy DOES pass away--'Labor Omnia Vincit' ('working people' (i.e. Labor) conquers all things). A 'proper application' (to Man's creations, not to God's) of the idea of "reincarnation"---this economy is a reincarnation of the first economy

  • Keynes didn't save the world from anything. If you believe that, then you believe that George Bush and Barack Obama have been good for the economy.
