Look up No Child Left Behind. While in high school you can what is called opt-out. That means that a recruiter will not get your information. When you get to college that is when I get your information no matter what you want unless you go to a private college and then that doesn't apply. I would get in high school, but I will get you in college.

I wish the counter recruitment effort was more successful because that would kick off the draft. The counter recruiter guy is a moron. If the Army can't find enough people then we start the draft. I was a recruiter and prayed everyday for the draft to start. I would loved to have seen these sorry ass counter recruitment kids get drafted. They would be the first one I send through an insurgents door.

Just so you know, Selective Service is for draft registration and that information is not given to recruiters and is not related to No Child Left Behind. They are completely different. Every male of 18yrs of age must register for the draft, that is what you received in the mail. If you don't register in the Selective Service you can't even get federal financial aid.

You guys asked questions to two different sections of he Army. One was from active duty and the other was from the Reserves. One is full time and one is part-time. That explains why the answers were different. This video is more deceptive than you are portraying recruiters to be.

An army recruiter called me, said they got my info from my college, told me I would never finish my degree anyway so I should join the Army. I'm a staight A student.
