Old Thyssen - De Reus Elevators

Located in a old block of flats in Amstelveen.

I Found these old elevators in a old block of flats, and the entrance door was open (it used to be locked, but the lock is broken), these are very interesting elevators. notice the call button. the middle button is the call button, and the other two things are directional indicators, to show where the elevator is going.

I was a bit scared about using these elevators, since the alarm bells are vandalized, and there is no phone. and my cellphone was low on battery power. but i did not get stuck. as you see, there are little blue stickers on the shaft wall, those stickers show the name and phone numer of the service company! there are also some of those stickers inside the car.

Notice that the first elevator has a very loud motor, and no, its not the fan, because there is no fan, and it sounds diffrent when levelling, and stops exactly when the elevator stops. the second elevator was pretty quiet, so you could hear the relay floor selector.

waarom zit er zoveel ruimte tussen de verdiepingen

het zijn even en oneven liften.

de eerste lift komt alleen bij B - 1 - (2) - 3 - (4) - 5 - (6) - 7

de tweede lift komt alleen bij B - (1) - 2 - (3) - 4 - (5) - 6 - (7)

dat is vrij gebruikelijk in oudere flats. vraag me niet waarom, ik vind het ook onlogisch. maar het bespaart deuren en knoppen.

nee joh, lekker origineel laten, dit zijn geweldige liften (volgens mij dan)

in weert

dat is veelste hoog voor een roped hydraulic

maar hij mag wel worden gemoderiseerd
