I was asked to produce this package about the history of WCPO's news department. It aired as part of thier 50th anniversay show. It's kinda cool if you grew up in Greater Cincinnati.
I remember Al Schottelkotte and the "Eye in the sky" promos and spintros...remember the supper fire clearly...Glad I don't live in Cincinnati anymore...I was in that hellhole called Longview(you wouldn't believe the abuses)...Cincinnati always was and is a cesspit.
That is my dad on the Left in this is "stunt" pose. Paul Adams who was chief Engineer at WCPO from about 52 through 68.

June 6, 1996 WCPO becomes ABC and WKRC becomes CBS. 1961-1996 9 was CBS and 12 was ABC.
