Seriously! Don't get shot! LA is some serious shit. I've never tried to get "out there" but I know a lot of people are picked up from doing gigs at cafes, restaurants, bars, hell, even a comedy spot would be good for you, you've got a lot of good material. I'd say, just get out there. If you see a place you'd like to perform at, grab your guitar, have some printed out lyrics with you so you don't mess up your lines while playing :P and go for it! And just because your passion is music, doesn't mean it has to be the only thing you do. Your path can be inspiring people with your music (which I think it is because you're music is amazing), but your day job could be something else. You know what I mean?

I relate to your videos. Im floundering. My
passion is art and design, yet we're taking the safe route with guaranteed income. In these pressing economic times it's hard to quit.
But the nagging guilt that we're not using our full potential is Its tough to tolerate,but you'll make it. We have our outlets. Im going to force time to start on the YouTube world like you have. We can dream.
