This was my song in high school and still one of my favorites. Although crudely produced by today's standards, it has an energy rarely found in any music

Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. This song exists as a part of my earliest pop awakenings. Part of the gestalt, if you will... The squealing horns are the key element for me.

Great, great song. I had the privilage of living the "60's". What a great era for music and TV but I would miss the remote control. LOL

NotGuilty.... EYE bought this in '66, also. I still have mine...... Rock on !!

The very first record I ever bought
First time I discovered this song was in the sound track of Time Cop. I love this song and there are so many versions of it. But definitely this is my favorite and it was nice to hear it after all those years. I wonder if this is the original because the others didn't have the same complete orchestra sound.

I'd rather listen to classic music like this one and others than watch TV.

@SPORTSNUTIM Same here. TV was a lot better in the 60's too, even though there weren't many channels or remote controls.
