Oct 2009 - The Houston Vietnamese American community hosted an honoring and welcome home parade for American and Vietnamese Veterans of the Vietnam War. The Texas State Guard was the senior service on the reviewing stand and took the salute on behalf of Vietnam Veterans in the Houston area. Thousands turned out for the community parade on Bellaire Boulevard.

  • Wasn't it a great day? The whole event was very moving. There were many vets with tears in their eyes. I found the presentatin of the flower leis to be the most moving moments. Bob M

  • The South Vietnamese who came to US after the NVA overran Saigon and So. Vietnam, are very patriotic and believe in this Country and have honored all American veterans who served in Nam. They participate in these Memorial Day and Veteran Day ceremonies to honor the US and the U.S. Vietnam veterans. So, I say thank you.
