The Singing starts - Football vs. choir

Today we have already listened to the first notes of the World Choir Championships. The first match of Group B in Graz at the World Championship of American Football ( July 8 -16) started. Players from both teams from Austria and Japan tried to wangle the ball and do their best.

But before, the gentlemen of the sport and the spectators joined the voices of the Youth Choirs of Austria when they offered different vocal contributions. They performed: Graz, the City of my heart and also the anthems of the teams in their national languages , directed by Franz Maria Herzog and Maria Fürntratt.

But do not frighten you have not missed the opening of the World Choir Championships for the Youth and Young Adults. It will be start on Sunday (July 10) with the parade of choirs, the reception on the main square and the opening concert in Stefaniensaal.
