The client, Geveke Werktuigbouw, is one of the Best Managed Companies in 2009 in the Netherlands (source: Deloitte). Annually service employees meet. And this was a great opportunity to create some images.

The briefing: search for a location near the meeting place. Come up with a composition. And take great photographs for brochures, the website and more. By the way, youve got one hour for the shoot.

It was mid-november and we had typical dutch weather: lots of rain en heavy winds.

Tips for outdoor strobist shooters:
-Put a transparent zip lock sandwich bag over your flash to save it from the rain.
-Always take some tent pegs with you. Pinning your light stands down in ground prevents the wind blowing them over.
-Cactus V4 radio triggers work just fine, even over long distances.
