Recorded in Reading ca. 1995. This was an out-take from a Meridian TV programme on the organ in today's world. The producer asked for a short demo on bass pedals.

It's a bit strange playing the pedals out of context so I gave up after a short time and added the manuals for an impromptu 12 bar blues.

For those aspiring to play bass pedals the clip may show the possibilities when the left hand is freed up to play chords. For example, in generating harmonic and rhythmic interest against the melody or solo. There is also great scope for variety in the chord voicings used.
