I cried throughout this movie knowing full well what was going to happen. It gets me every time. This is the best movie version so far.

i always find this a crazy story... not a love story. i mean u cannot to begin to make sense of any of it. but u just cant help getting sucked in. theres something about them, these people, this place... that holds u... very hard to put in words

I don't know why so many people consider Wuthering Heights a Love Story, Heathcliff such a romantic hero, and Catherine as some wide-eyed innocent. The story is more about jealousy, obsession, revenge, hatred and abuse. Heathcliff is an insane, violent, deeply unpleasant bastard. Catherine is a horrible, selfish, spoiled wretch... having said that the book is amazing.

loved the movie. wanna read a great book? read sorrows of young werther. its so sad that by the time its came out (19th century) it caused 2000 suicides

@trupnai640 My favourite book ever is 'Wuthering Heights', though 'Jane Eyre' is also fantastic and I love all the Brontes and their writing. If you want a similar book I would suggest 'A Long Fatal Love Chase' by Louisa May Alcott. It's a really unknown one by her but it's great, really good story, fast paced and very dramatic (much more like 'Wuthering Heights' than 'Little Women')!! Also Anne Bronte's 'Tenant of Wildfell Hall' is well worth a read, and again quite similar! :)

i love charlotte and tom's chemistry after watching 'the take' and finding out they were going to play lovers after he raped her i was desperate to see what they would be like on set together and now they are engaged :)
