I remember seeing this when I was just four years old and even though I was much too young to understand what they were singing about, the excitement, the energy and even the sheer joy made me realize this was something special. One of the first DVDs I ever got was of The Beatles' appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. What a wonderful time it was.

I love Paul McCartney so much I always randomly break into song about him that usually goes something along the lines of-"Oh Paulie you're so beautiful and pretty and I love your hair and your eyes and your lovely Liverpudlian accent and omg I just stubbed my toe but I want to marry and have ten kids and you'll play piano for me and we'll make love every day lalalala" and it has absolutely no tune, really. But it's Grammy award winning songwriting as you can see, love.

I still get the shivers up my spine when I see and hear this song! I remember sitting by our old RCA black and white tv, with two other friends and my cousin, and Ed Sullivan introduced them, and when the lights came on and the music, guys and girls alike screamed in the homes as well as at the show! We did! The voices fit the looks and the music and it was something I will never forget!
